We are looking for an experienced Technical Artist to join our team in the development of industrial software and game projects. As a Technical Artist with us, you will work closely with our development team to ensure that our products achieve high visual quality. You are a creative and technically experienced team player who is willing to apply your skills in a dynamic environment.

What we expect from you

Your tasks:

  • Collaborate with development team to resolve visual and technical issues
  • Develop tools, workflows, and pipelines to support artists and developers
  • Support for the implementation of 3D assets, shader programming and lighting
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges in creating assets and integrating them into the engine
  • Creation of documentation and tutorials for the artists and developers
Your skills

What you should bring:

  • Several years of experience in the creation of 3D assets and animations
  • Good knowledge in Unity 3D and C#
  • Understanding of 3D mathematics and shaders
  • Experience with 3D modeling, texturing and lighting
  • Familiarity with common 3D software tools (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop).
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Your skills

Bonus points if you have experience in the following areas:

  • VR or AR development experience
  • Experience with other game engines like Unreal Engine
  • Knowledge in Python or other script languages

Wir geben dir ein kleines Probeprojekt. Hier kannst du ein von uns gestelltes „Problem“ auf deine Art lösen. Die Aufgaben unterscheiden sich selbstverständlich je nach Bereich und Skillset.

Step 3

In einer Nachbesprechung gibt es ein (wenn gewünscht) ausführliches Feedback zur Umsetzung des Projekts. Hier entscheiden wir auch, ob wir zueinander finden und dich bei Binary Impact begrüßen dürfen.

We offer internships for programmers and technical artists. This, due to the technical complexity, unfortunately not in the school sector. However, you have the possibility to get an insight into a modern IT company during your studies or in the course of a voluntary internship in your gap year at Binary Impact.
