Yesterday, we hosted our first standalone meetup of the Unity User Group Rhein-Main at the Gutenberg Digital Hub in Mainz and it was a great start!
This session was intentionally informal, giving everyone the chance to get to know each other. We kicked things off with an extensive round of introductions to learn where people are coming from and what they’re currently working on. It was inspiring to see such a diverse mix of backgrounds, projects, and perspectives.
We also gathered input on what our community expects from the group and the upcoming meetups. This will help us shape future sessions to make them as valuable as possible for everyone involved.
In the next few days, we’ll be setting up a Discord server to provide an online space for ongoing exchange and collaboration between meetups.
Overall, it was a fun and energizing evening, reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new ones from across the industry and education.
A big thank you to Unity for helping us getting the user group set up!
Looking forward to building this community together!
